How do I contact you?

You can contact Jamie online, or by email jamie@mintdécor.co.uk or phone. The office number 01737 556234 has a answering machine and is checked every 12 hours. You can call the mobile number 24 hours a day on 07900 22 39 20. We check for voice messages every four hours.

Do I have to supply and buy the materials?

We will buy the materials included within the estimate, unless otherwise requested. For wallpaper, we will advise you regarding how many rolls are required so you can choose and buy your preferred design.

When does the payment need to be made for your services?

Payment falls due, in full, on completion of the work.

Why use a decorator?

For a large majority of the population, decorating can be seen as a hobby or even a chore. To do an outstanding job, you have to enjoy what you are doing and dedicate enough time to do it thoroughly and properly. This can be quite demanding, especially if you have work commitments or are caring for children. When you use a decorator, it’s something they do – day in day out – for many years. The difference in quality of finish is noticeable. And there’s minimal stress for you!

When will you visit my property to provide an estimate?

We’ll arrange a date and time that suits you. For example, we’re happy to visit during the evening, avoiding your other commitments such as dinnertime or putting the children to bed.

What happens if there is accidental damage to my property?

This situation very rarely occurs. But if it does, you can be assured that Mint Décor is a fully insured company and carries £1,000,000 public liability insurance. If any damage is done by any employee, the item will be replaced through the insurance.

How long will I have to wait for the work to start once I accept your estimate?

As a popular company, we are usually booked about two to three months in advance. However, in certain circumstances we may be able to be flexible and move things around to fit your needs, so it’s always worth asking. Remember, if any decorating company is available at short notice, you might wonder whether there’s a reason why.
